Are you planning to attend the 4th World Parkinson Congress? We invite you to submit a photo letting the Parkinson's community know they will be seeing you in Portland, Oregon.
In your photo, be sure to include:
Holding a sign, in the language of your choice;
That reads something like "See you in Portland at the WPC 2016" or "See you at the WPC 2016 in Portland".
Photos will be displayed on the WPC website, Facebook page. We may also use them in our eNewsletter or possibly onsite in Portland at the WPC 2016.
Photos may be submitted via this page only. Photos emailed to the WPC will not be accepted.
Digital Image Requirements - Images should be formatted to 72 dpi, no larger than 700 by 350 pixels and no smaller than 500 by 250 pixels. Images should be submitted in JPG (at high quality). File sizes must be less than 200KB per image. Images can be in color or black and white.

Be aware of your background and what is around you.
Best format is a horizontal shot.
Make sure the writing on the message board is clear and concise (any language is okay, but it just needs to be easy to read and clear).
That you are the owner of the photograph or have permission from the owner to submit it.
These tips will not guarantee your photo will be selected for display on the WPC home page slide but will increase your chances. Accepted photos will be limited to one submission per person.
Inappropriate Content - provocative, or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. The WPC Inc. retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content and what images will be posted on its website.
Photographer and Copyright - You must be the sole owner of the copyright of the image submitted. Your submission of the photo is your guarantee that you are the copyright holder of the photo.
Ownership - Photographers retain the copyright to their photographs. By submitting your photo, photographers agree to have their submitted photograph displayed on the WPC website without any fee or other form of compensation. In the event that ownership of any photograph submitted to the WPC is contested in any manner, the WPC retains the discretion to reject that photograph and discontinue its use.
Use Rights -The WPC may make and retain copies of the photograph for archival purposes. Photos may be used in WPC promotional pieces, such as the WPC website, Facebook page, brochures or other printed or electronic materials for promotional purposes of the WPC 2016.
