WPC Distinguished Collaborative Research Award
The WPC Distinguished Collaborative Research Award honors members of the Parkinson’s community whose research embodies the WPC spirit of collaboration and bringing the community together to advance understanding of PD. The research by these awardees is successful due to collaborations on basic and clinical research, improved medical practices, treatments, and beyond. Collaborations could be with researchers outside of their normal sphere, with non-scientists, junior researchers, or others who would not normally be invited to the bench or research table. They are recognized for their innovative efforts to advance our understanding and treatment of PD.
